Foundations
We are a premier manufacturer of homestyle flour tortillas, artisan (die-cut) flour tortillas, corn tortillas and tortilla chips. Our SQF certified, world-class facility is located in Caldwell, Idaho. Since 1977, we have been manufacturing and supplying customers with best quality products using the finest ingredients, time-tested recipes, innovative manufacturing processes, and proprietary fresh-freezing techniques. Today, Fresca produces about 5 million tortillas per day, employs over 175 full-time employees, and supplies our products to a wide variety of customers, all around the world.
Our Leadership Team



Andy Savin
President & Chief Executive Officer
Andy Savin is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Fresca Mexican Foods. Andy began his career as an investment banker on Wall Street. Afterwards, he moved to Seattle where he held management positions at PACCAR, manufacturer of Kenworth and Peterbilt heavy-duty truck brands, and RR Donnelley. Later, he became Chief Financial Officer of several emerging growth technology companies before raising a search fund to acquire Fresca, where he has been leading the team since 2007.
Andy graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Economics and earned an MBA in Finance from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He is an avid mountain biker and skier and enjoys travel and spending time with his family.
John Rosellini
Chief Revenue Officer
John is the Chief Revenue Officer for Fresca and the leader for all sales and marketing activity. He graduated from Washington State University and spent 18 years in Seattle with Starbucks, leading across the foodservice and license store business prior to becoming Director of Strategy, Planning and Operations. He began working at Fresca in 2020 and is responsible for facilitating all new business development strategies and maintaining existing partnerships worldwide. He and his team work hard to meet unique product and programming needs by delivering specific solutions for each and every customer.
John’s favorite thing about Fresca is working with a team that is committed to exceeding customer’s expectations. When he’s not working, he enjoys playing tennis, boating, and skiing.






David Thurber
Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer
David Thurber is both the Chief Financial Officer and the Chief Operating Officer at Fresca. He obtained an MBA from Boise State University in Business Administration and Management. He leads the finance, human resources, legal, and business planning operations at Fresca. Together, he and his team work diligently to create a deep understanding of Fresca’s past performance, current market data and business trends in order to optimize operations and help make Fresca the best company it can be.
David’s favorite thing about working at Fresca is being able to provide customers with high-quality food they can use to bring joy to their customers. He’s been with Fresca since 2016 and really enjoys the culture and people. He grew up in Boise and enjoys living close to his extended family in the best city in America.
Adam Doolhoff
Chief Product Officer
Adam is the Chief Product Officer for Fresca. He has a BS in Microbiology and Immunology with a minor in Chemistry from Weber State University. He is certified in PCQI, FSSC, and is trained as an 22000 auditor. Adam leads the product development team, co-creating with customers, developing Fresca’s commercialization strategy, integrating lean manufacturing principles, and driving continuous improvement in the production plant.
Adam is creative at heart and loves to apply his creativity to making really tasty food. His favorite quesadilla recipe starts with our Salsa Wrap and grilled chicken and finishes with shredded cheddar cheese and a spicy nacho cheese sauce, which is served with Ranch dressing on the side. His favorite part about working at Fresca is the family environment and the focus we have for building long-term partnerships with customers and distributors.






Paul Sturdivant
Vice President, Operations
Paul Sturdivant is the Vice President of Operations at Fresca. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is responsible for leading the operations and manufacturing teams and driving performance in the production plant. His background includes time served in the U.S. Navy working in nuclear power generation. He has also led food manufacturing teams for the production of chocolate and confectionary products as well as coffee.
Paul is passionate about American manufacturing. He is energized by the discipline required to lead teams to perform a little better every day, which is at the heart of good manufacturing. He recently moved to the Boise area and is loving it here. He especially enjoys the quick access to upland bird hunting and skiing, as well as the abundance of accessible public land.
