After nearly 40 years of being told by foodservice operators that Fresca tortillas are the best they have ever seen and asking where they can buy them at retail, Fresca introduced it’s new retail brand Tortilla Revolution into select test stores in Boise. Preliminary feedback is that consumers understand the benefits of the product being frozen to preserve freshness vs. using preservatives and chemicals found in shelf stable products.
“We are seeing very strong sales and tremendous consumer acceptance so far,” said Tom NIst, VP Sales and Marketing. “Consumers love the fact that Tortilla Revolution taste better than shelf stable products and are much healthier too.”
